Our event is one of the oldest road races in North America, 110 years running! Competitive runners, recreational runners, and walkers are all encouraged to participate. We take pride in being a fun and affordable event for the whole family. The course is a two mile loop and runners have the choice of running a two mile or a six mile race.
There are shirts for the first 1,000 registrants, awards for the top 3 finishers in numerous age groups, with food and drink at the post-race reception and awards ceremony. The race is chip-timed by Atlantic Chip Sport Timing. After the race, enjoy the annual Dartmouth Natal Day Festival and Parade.

About Us

Since 1983, Run Nova Scotia has fostered and promoted road running all across Nova Scotia. From one running boom to the next, our mission has not wavered: to promote health, fitness, and camaraderie to people of all ages and abilities through the sport of road running. For close to 30 years, we’ve supported the unique needs and goals of anyone from Yarmouth to Sydney who has decided to lace up a pair of running shoes and join the thousands of other Nova Scotians running the roads.
