Volunteer with
Run Nova Scotia
Road running is for everyone
and so is volunteering
Run Nova Scotia is a volunteer-driven organization that supports races, events, and the running community across the province. Whether you’re a runner, a supporter, or simply interested in getting involved, volunteering is a great way to contribute to the welcoming and inclusive environment that defines our events.
We’re currently recruiting volunteers for upcoming events and expos.

- Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming space
- Volunteer shifts are approximately 2 hours in length
- Volunteers are welcome to sign up for multiple shifts
- Please arrive 5–10 minutes early for a smooth transition
- Wearing a Run Nova Scotia T-shirt is encouraged
Run Nova Scotia members can earn Road Race Series points by volunteering at Road Race Series events and Run Nova Scotia–supported events, including expos.
- Volunteers can earn up to 60 points total
- Points count toward Road Race Series standings
- Points are awarded for completing a scheduled volunteer shift (~2 hours)
- Volunteers must sign in and complete their shift to receive points
If you have questions about eligibility or points, we’re happy to help on-site.
Volunteering is an opportunity to be part of the running community in a different way.
- Support events across Nova Scotia
